While the idea of inclusive schooling seems straightforward, putting it into practice is often challenging. This is why many education settings continue to struggle with creating truly inclusive environments that embrace diversity and cater the unique needs of every learner.

Our project wishes to emphasise and realise the true meaning of inclusive schooling by emphasising its key role in creating an educational setting where every student feels valued and supported.

The core objective of the project is to review existing materials used in the adult language learning classroom, think about how those materials represent all learners and in particular those from LGBTQ+ or Trans backgrounds and devise some training through recorded online workshops shared with the wider community and the development of worksheets that could be used to help make materials more inclusive of everyone in the classroom irrespective of their background, race, sexual orientation, nationality or identification.
